THE THELEMIC IMPORT OF THE KAABA
Establish at thy Kaaba a clerk-house: all must be done well and with business way.
-Liber AL vel Legis, III:41
Old Comment to Liber AL:
"This shall be done as soon as possible."
New Comment to Liber AL:
"It is being done now."
Liber IV - Genesis Liber AL, Preface:
"In The Book of the Law, which forms the whole of this Part, we find (in the 3rd chapter and the 39th to the 41st verse) an instruction to issue a book to say how this Revelation was obtained, with certain details with regard to the style in which it was to be done:
39. All this and a book to say how thou didst come hither and a reproduction of this ink and paper for ever -- for in it is
the word secret & not only in the English -- and thy comment upon this the Book of the Law shall be printed
beautifully in red ink and black upon beautiful paper made by hand; and to each man and woman that thou
meetest, were it but to dine or to drink at them, it is the Law to give. Then they shall chance to abide in this bliss
or no; it is no odds. Do this quickly!
40. But the work of the comment? That is easy; and Hadit burning in thy heart shall make swift and secure thy pen.
41. Establish at thy Kaaba a clerk-house: all must be done well and with business way.
It has hitherto been impossible to comply with this injunction, although an attempt was made in The Temple of Solomon the King. We now proceed to do so; the subject divides itself into Eight Chapters."
Liber CCC - Khabs am Pekht:
"This is very clear instruction indeed. There is to be a modern centralized business organization at the Kaaba--which, We think, does not mean Boleskine, but any convenient headquarters."
