Goals

Kaaba Colloquiua are organized as an educational program of the O.T.O. United States Grand Lodge, which receives direction from the Executive Committee and collaborates with the Strategic Planning Secretary, the Electoral College, and the Education Committee. The particular strategic concern of the Kaaba Leadership Program is to support the growth and development of leaders.

Kaaba Colloquia are intended to:

• Provide training in O.T.O. leadership philosophy and techniques for local officers.

• Create opportunities for officers of different local bodies to meet and exchange ideas on the theoretical and practical concerns of O.T.O. organizing.

• Expose interested members to the challenges and rewards of local officer work.

• Make key national officers available in person to members who have not yet reached the invitational degrees.

• Permit U.S.G.L. to encounter the concerns and aspirations of local leaders.

The hosting local bodies continue to provide logistical support for the Kaaba Roadshow, but it has long been our custom to handle all arrangements ourselves and leave them instead with opportunities to provide hospitality in the evenings and to showcase their local members and accomplishments.
